It is a fantasy romance set in a world populated by non-human characters. The story follows a male and female protagonist, who find themselves imprisoned without a clear recollection of how they got there. As they eventually escape, they find themselves in a world totally unlike their homeworld, slowly coming to the conclusion that the way home might not be as easy as they initially thought. Stuck in the wrong world, they have to figure out whether home is a place or the people you choose to fight alongside.
